Home Care
At Resume Healthcare Solutions, we can adjust our visit times. Our minimum visit in the morning is 60 minutes, and in the evening, it’s 45 minutes. We’re open to spending more time if required, and we charge a fair price for additional time. Don’t hesitate to ask for more time if you need it.
Morning Call Duties at Service User’s Home (60 minutes) include:
- Conducting a timely morning visit to the service user’s residence as per the schedule.
- Assisting the service user with morning routines, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Administering prescribed medications accurately and on time as per the care plan.
- Preparing and serving breakfast, ensuring it aligns with dietary requirements and preferences.
- Engaging in a friendly and supportive conversation to boost the service user’s mood and well-being.
- Monitoring vital signs if required and report any abnormalities or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Supporting mobility exercises or routines as directed in the care plan.
- Performing light household chores as needed, ensuring the environment is safe and tidy.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of the morning visit, including observations and tasks completed.
Evening Call Duties at Service User’s Home (45 minutes) include:
- Assisting the service user with evening routines, including personal hygiene, changing into night attire, and preparing for bedtime.
- Administering prescribed medications accurately and on time as per the care plan.
- Preparing and serving dinner or assist with meal preparation, ensuring it adheres to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Engaging in empathetic and supportive conversation, providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with mobility, transferring, or positioning the service user as needed.
- Helping with any necessary toileting or personal care needs before bedtime.
- Ensuring the service user’s safety and comfort throughout the evening visit.
- Documenting accurately all activities, observations, and care provided during the visit in the appropriate records.

Specialist Care
At Resume Healthcare Solutions Ltd, we offer Specialist Care to our clients. This means we help with specific tasks related to health needs. Our specialist care services include things like:
- Helping with feeding through tubes
- Taking care of catheters
- Assisting with putting in eye drops or ear drops
- And more tasks that need special skills or knowledge to help with health needs.
Live-in Care
- Offering companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversations, and providing social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility support.
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements, ensuring the client’s nutritional needs are met.
- Administering medications as prescribed, organising pill schedules, and ensuring proper adherence to medication routines.
- Performing household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping, to maintain a clean and organised living space.
- Providing overnight supervision, assistance with restroom visits, and support to ensure safety and comfort during the night.
- Assisting with transportation to appointments, social outings, or running errands as needed.
- Offering tailored care for specific medical conditions or complex needs, providing continuous support and monitoring throughout the day and night.
- Providing relief to family caregivers by taking over caregiving responsibilities for a certain period, allowing them to rest and rejuvenate while ensuring the client’s needs are met.
- Offering empathy, reassurance, and emotional support to promote mental well-being and enhance the client’s quality of life.

Companionship
- Engaging clients in recreational activities such as board games, puzzles, arts and crafts, gardening, or other hobbies to stimulate mental alertness and social interaction.
- Providing activities and exercises aimed at stimulating cognitive functions, memory games, storytelling, or engaging discussions to maintain mental acuity.
- Accompanying clients on walks, visits to parks, attending community events, or accompanying them to social gatherings to provide companionship and promote socialisation.
- Reading books, newspapers, or magazines aloud to the client and engaging in stimulating conversations to foster mental engagement and emotional connection.
- Encouraging discussions about past experiences, looking through photo albums, or reminiscing about memories to evoke positive emotions and a sense of connection.
- Playing soothing music, singing together, or encouraging the client to listen to their favourite music as a form of relaxation and emotional expression.
- Helping clients with technology use, such as video calls with family and friends, using social media, or navigating entertainment options for mental stimulation.
- Assisting clients in writing letters, emails, or cards to family and friends, fostering connections and maintaining relationships.
- Providing empathetic listening, offering encouragement, and being a supportive presence to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Respite
- Providing temporary relief to primary caregivers by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting for the care recipient.
- Ensuring that medications are administered on time and in the correct dosage during the respite period, maintaining the care recipient’s health and well-being.
- Offering companionship and emotional reassurance to the care recipient, engaging in meaningful conversations, and providing social interaction during the absence of the primary caregiver.
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and other chores necessary for the comfort and well-being of the care recipient.
- Observing and documenting any changes in the care recipient’s condition or behaviour, reporting concerns or significant developments to the primary caregiver or healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the care recipient, providing supervision, and addressing any situations that may arise during the respite period.
- Engaging the care recipient in activities such as games, hobbies, reading, or other forms of entertainment to keep them mentally stimulated and engaged.
- Personalised Care Plans: Tailoring care plans according to the specific needs and preferences of the care recipient, ensuring continuity of care during the respite period.
- Providing flexible respite care schedules to accommodate the needs and availability of the primary caregiver, offering relief and support whenever needed.
